Day 4: Favorite Books

Mitch Albom. Mandy Hale. Gretchen Rubin. Yes, all their books!

Oh, how I love them. :)

Mitch's so good in coming up with novels that will stuck to the depths of your heart. Ibang klase. I got his 5 books and while I can read them over and over, iba ang dating sa 'kin ng Tuesdays with Morrie. It makes me look and contemplate on how I'm living nga ba my life and that though medyo morbid pakinggan, death is like change, inevitable. But you can enjoy the waiting game by simply living your best life, with the people, with everyone that matters.

I just met Mandy Hale. Haha. Not the one you're thinking. Thanks to Kris Aquino, I was able to know an advocate of single-blessedness, the author of The Single Woman. Having a partner can give a wonderful feeling pero di naman porke single eh di na pwedeng maging masaya. Nasa attitude at outlook lang daw yan sa buhay. Saka minsan, cry until it hurts no more, tapos let go na. :) At the moment, Mandy got three books. I have all of them! :) I'll do a separate review on each.

Gretchen. Oh how I love thee. I don't know if she knows me personally. Pero halos lahat ng steps she did sa The Happiness Project nya eh tama sa 'kin - Sapul na sapul! Those were exactly the steps I got in mind.

Day 3: Favorite Movies

I don't really watch TV. So, nothing in particular except minsan eh hooked ako sa It's Showtime at GGV kung gusto kong bumongga ng tawa. While fro serious matters and interesting facts, I go for Jessica Soho Presents. Network war just don't exist! :)

Day 2: Favorite Movies

I don't frequent movie house. As in hindi ako mahilig manood ng movies, when boyfie wanted to watch, madalas sa hindi eh natutulog lang ako sa loob ng sinehan. Kaya paglabas ng sinehan, wala kong ma-share or what. Wala kasi akong naintindihan! But nevertheless, there were movies who got my full attention. Their stories lingers in my mind - so vivid.

1. Titanic

I watched it sa isang jam-packed, full-packed na sinehan! Ibang klase. The people didn't mind standing long hours just to watch. Eh keri lang, kasi back then, movies aren't single screening pa naman. I cried sa last part when Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) died. Ahh. This fumed yung hatred ko yata sa tragic movies.

2. Bucket List

This movie made me realized so much. It is as if I rose from death, na bigla gusto ko na biglang maging super bait. Basta ang daming realizations. Morgan and Jack did so much justice sa movie na 'to.

3. If Only

Jennifer is so good in portraying a loving and super caring girlfriend - peg ko na sya! Pero the movie isn't for soft-hearted people, sobrang nakakaiyak sya, it makes me think na when you're in a relationship eh dapat talaga, you'll give your all para sa dulo walang if.. walang but..


This movie marks it - ayoko na talaga ng mga tragic, sad at heartbreaking movies. Never again! Ang hirap kasi I tend to put myself sa sitwasyon nila. Ang sakit lang sa puso. :'(

Day 1: A recent picture and 15 facts about you

the picture was taken last October 13 before bumalik ng Pinas from a 7-Day trip sa Singapore

1. I graduated Electronics and Communications Engineering from Adamson University
2. I am currently taking my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at De La Salle University
3. I took up CISCO Module 3 at UP-Diliman
4. I held several positions in the ECE local and national chapters
5. I eat spaghetti, kahit lasang ketchup, lasang sosyal; sa kanto man o sa mamahaling restaurant
6. Business-minded. In fact, not a single day passed ng hindi ako nakakapag-isip, kahit pasingit-singit lang what opportunities are available around me to earn extra
7. Graduate of impulsive buying. Gone are the days na napaka-impulsive ko when it comes sa mga bagay na nakikita ko sa malls, online or kahit sa tiangge lang. Now, I let several days pass before I decide if I'll really make a purchase or not na. Prolly, ganun talaga when you're getting a 'lil older (maturing - more humane term).
8. I love Purple!!! Halata ba? :)
9. I love Manilyn Reynes! Until these days! :)
10. My bag's heavy dahil sa notebook, planner at mga pens. Even if alam ko na hindi ko siya magagamit, still, I can't get out of the house na wala sila. Para silang sunblock lang!
11. I'm a jealous lover but not really insecure, a possessive GF but not obsessed!
12. I would do anything for love - yes, indeed! Saksi ang mga bestest friends ko diyan
13. I can be a friend for life; an enemy - nope. I don't hold grudges anymore to anyone kahit ano pang extent ng $5!T na ginawa nya
14. I love giving people presents. Hays, makes me wish na super yaman ko!
15. I love God, Jesus Christ, Mary, all the Saints and I really adore Pope John Paul II. I keep a rosary sa bag ko

I can't say na I'm officially back from hiatus. Baka kasi mamaya tamarin na naman ako mag-blog. Eh magtulog na naman etong site na 'to. Naku po. Wag naman sana. Anyways, I'd like my first post to poster some sort of positivity kaya I'd like to feature yung balak kong i-gift this Christmas. I am loving mason jar (pero dahil mejo expensive sya, I'll scout for alternatives sa Divisoria! :)) and kisses! :) 

So, watch out para sa mga DIY's ko na pang-regalo! Pasensya na muna sa mga kaibigan ko at inaanak pero be it known na the said gifts, kahit DIY at mura lang eh will be made with utmost love and care! :) Hehe.
